Goldsboro - Mrs. Katherine Reid, 79, transitioned from labor to reward on Saturday, February 10, 2024 at UNC Health Wayne, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Monday, February 19, 2024 at 11:00am at St. Mark Church of Christ, Disciples of Christ, 700 W. Ash Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Sunday, February 18, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on June 5, 1944 in Wayne County, NC to Eddie Faison and Blanche Flowers. She is survived by her husband, Israel Reid of the home; daughters: Bianca Lawrence and Katrina Teachey (Floyd) both of Goldsboro, NC and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
