Mt. Olive - Ms. Katie Louise Troublefield Vann, 69 of 201 N. Southerland Street, passed on Friday, March 23, 2018 at home. The celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 11:00am at Winn Chapel Church, 110 Smith Street, Mt. Olive, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Carver Memorial Park, Carver Street, Mt. Olive, NC. There will be viewing held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations of Goldsboro.
She was born in Wayne County, NC to Alton Rhodes and Eliza Mae Troublefield. She is survived by three children: Anita S. (Walter) Smith of Goldsboro, NC, Takisha Vann of Goldsboro, NC and Corey (Dana) Vann of Pittsburgh, PA and one sister, Joyce Ann Best of Clinton, NC.
