Dudley - Eldress KayRuth D. Cain,65, known for that big infectious, smile and bubbly personality went from labor to reward on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00am with a viewing from 10:00am to 10:45am at Greater St. John FWB Church, 613 Mitchell Road, Dudley, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC.
She was born on March 8, 1957 in Duplin County, NC to Matthew and Thelma Boone Southerland. She is survived by her husband, Elder George Wayne Cain,I of the home; two sons: Charles (April) Newton of Warsaw and George "Gee" Cain, II of Dudley, NC and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
