Goldsboro - Mr. Keith Lewis, 59, passed on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Greenleaf Christian Church, 2110 N. William Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home.
He was born on February 21, 1957 in Wayne County, NC to John Oscar Lewis and Johnnie Braswell Lewis. He is survived by his mother, Mother Johnnie Lewis; one daughter, Keesha (Alvin) of Newark, New Jersey; three brothers: Pastor Gregory Jones (Brenda) of Goldsboro, NC, Elder Bruce Smith (Carol) of La Grange, NC and Minister Cottrell Lewis (Katrina) of Fayetteville, NC.
