Warsaw - Deacon Kenneth "Kennis" Earl Morrisey, 76 of 838 W. College Street, passed on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2:00pm at Prayer of Faith Evangelistic Church, 315 S. Gum Street, Warsaw, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Devotional Gardens, 1260 NC Hwy 24 & 50, Warsaw, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, December 22, 2017 from 5:00pm to 6:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 195 Kenansville Hwy, Warsaw, NC.
He was born on February 4, 1941 in Sampson County, NC to Lewis Morrisey Sr. and Doshia Chesnutt Newkirk. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Hester Smith Morrisey; seven children and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives.
