Goldsboro - Mr. Kenneth Thompson, 69, transitioned from this earthly life on Friday, September 23, 2022 at UNC Wayne Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 3:30pm with a viewing from 3:00pm to 3:25pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park North, 1191 Old Grantham Road, Goldsboro, NC at a later date.
He was on November 4, 1952 in Wayne County, NC to Essie Thompson. He is survived by wife, Linda Crooms Thompson; two daughters: Kimberly Thompson of Goldsboro and Salisa Crooms of Raleigh, NC; one granddaughter, Ava Smith of Goldsboro; one son-in-love, Ivan Smith of Goldsboro; two brothers: Eddie (Linda) Thompson of Goldsboro and Teddie Thompson of Goldsboro; two special nephews: Travis Artis of Goldsboro and Lamont (Shá) Thompson of Florida and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and relatives.
