A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at 11:00 am at Jerusalem FWB Church, 395 Jerusalem Church Rd, Seven Springs, NC. He will be laid to rest in the Jerusalem Church Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday, July 15, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He was born on January 6, 1926 in Wayne County, NC to Furnie and Lola Lofton. He is survived by his children, Deloris Nobles, Shirley Bond, Deloris Napper, Bertha Fields, Eddie Fields, Jimmie Fields and Joseph Britton, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. A professional, sympathetic, dignified and compassionate service has been entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
