Goldsboro - Mrs. Lafayette Wade, 90 of 310 Workman Street, passed on Saturday, October 5, 2019 at home. The celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at 11:00am at Word of Truth Christian Fellowship, 1401 N. Carolina Street, Goldsboro, NC with Pastor Timothy L. Dortch officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church.
She was born on April 26, 1929 in Orange County, NC to Joseph and Hattie Sanders Alston. She is survived by her children.
