Fremont - Ms. Lakisha Cox, 45 of 929 Chestnut Street, passed on Monday, March 25, 2019 at home. The celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 2:00pm at Mt. Zion Church Ministries, 323 Whitfield Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Golden Gate Memorial Gardens,4734 Highway 117 North, Pikeville, NC. There will be a viewing held on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on September 21, 1973 in Wayne County, NC to Benjamin Earl and Ethel Lee Ford Cox. She is survived by her fiance, Terry Devon Williams; her father, Benjamin E. Cox of Maryland; her grandmother, Essie Monk of Goldsboro, NC; her step-father, Edward B. King of Goldsboro, NC; sisters: Antwanette Jones (LaConta'), Katina Cox, Karen Greene and Andra' Greene, brothers: Edward King Jr. (Markita), William King (April), Christopher King, Lamar King (Jeremaih) and Kevin Greene and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
