Snow Hill - Ms. LaTonya D. Smith "Bird", 44, passed on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Lenior UNC Health Care, Kinston, NC. The celebration of her life will be held graveside on Friday, April 17, 2020 at 1:00pm at Hines Cemetery, Aldridge Store Road, LaGrange, NC (Attendance will be in accordance with the Governor's Executive Order). A public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2020 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC.
She was born on August 7, 1975 in Lenoir County, NC to James A. Hines and reared by her aunt, Miriam Hines. She is survived by her children, father and siblings.
