Greensboro - Ms. Lavern "Gatt" Coley, formerly of Goldsboro,64, passed on Sunday, October 24, 2021 at home. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at 1:00pm with a greeting and fellowship from 12:30pm to 1:00pm at St. James Church of Christ DOC, 514 Memorial Church Road, Fremont, NC.
She was born on January 10, 1957 to the late Deacon D.H. Coley and Mother Roxie "Tran" Best Coley. She is survived by her brother, David "Buddy Boy" Coley and her sister, Helena Bell.
