Goldsboro - Mr. Lawrence Lee Chestnut, 83, passed on Friday, September 4, 2020 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Monday, September 14, 2020 from 12:00pm to 12:30pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. The family will be receiving friends from 12:00pm to 12:50pm on Monday, September 14, 2020 at the funeral home, with the celebration of his life following at 1:00pm.
He was born on April 10, 1937 in Wayne County, NC to James Lee Chestnut and Sernetha Braswell Chestnut. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, siblings and many other relatives.
