Mr. Lawyer Lewis' Obituary
Goldsboro - Mr. Lawyer Lewis, 83, passed on Monday night, July 20, 2015 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00am at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommy's Road, Goldsboro, NC with Pastor Joe A. Jackson officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Barnes Cemetery, Tommy's Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, July 24, 2015 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
He was born on August 3, 1931 in Wayne County, NC to John Lewis and Mertie Whitfield Lewis. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Carrie M. Ward Lewis.
