Virginia - Mr. Lee Dell Best, 62 formerly of Duplin County, NC passed on Thursday, September 15, 2016. The celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at 1:00pm at First Missionary Baptist Church Warsaw, 336 West Hill Street, Warsaw, NC. He will be laid to rest at Devotional Gardens, 1260 NC Hwy 24 & 50, Warsaw, NC with military honors. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 12:00pm until 12:50pm at the church.
He was born in Duplin County (Rose Hill), NC on August 2, 1954 to George W. Best and Mattie Boone Best. He is survived by one son, Jason Best; one brother, Johnny L. Best (Kenansville); four sisters: Joyce A. Berry (Dallas, TX), Mattie L. Best (Upper Marlboro, MD), Diane Best (Warsaw, NC) and Angela B. Mainor (Warsaw, NC) and aunt, Mary G. Best (Warsaw, NC).
