Goldsboro - Mr. Lemont Atkinson, 70, transitioned peacefully on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at home as he recovered from surgery. His celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 12:00pm at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommys Road, Goldsboro, NC with a viewing on Friday, May 17, 2024 from 5:00pm -7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC 27534.
The family will be receiving friends at his home - 124 Orbit Rd Goldsboro, NC 27534 and other times at the home of his sister - 122 Livingston Drive Goldsboro, NC 27530.
