Ms. Lena Mae Saunders' Obituary
Ms. Lena Mae Saunders, 63, a resident of Willow Creek Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, passed on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, may 21, 2016 at 11:00am in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Gum Branch Society Cemetery, Jacksonville, NC on Monday, May 23, 2016. There will be a visitation held on Friday, May 20, 2016 from 5:00pm until 7:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 6:00pm until 7:00pm at the Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home.
She was born in Lenoir County, NC to Mosbon Goss and Anner Phillips Goss. She is survived by one daughter, Alyshia Goss of Kinston, NC; one son, Daryl Saunders of Newark, NJ; her grandson, Montel Gooding of Kinston, NC; her sisters: Ada Harris of Plainfield, NJ, Mae Carol King of Kinston, NC and Sarah (John) Ammons of Kinston, NC.
