Greenville - Ms. Lena C. Ward, 65, passed on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Willow Creek Nursing & Rehab Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, December 5, 2021 at 12:00pm with a viewing from 11:00am to 11:45am at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. The interment will be private. Due the COVID-19 precautions & the risk of the new variant, the family is limiting the attendance to 75 people with social distancing. You must have a mask to enter the building, as well as attend the service.
She was born on July 3, 1956 in Wayne County, NC to Eddie Lee Ward and Bertha Mae Dawson Ward. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, siblings and other loving relatives and friends.
