A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at 4:00pm at the Kingdom Hall-Jehovah's Witness, 600 11th Street, Goldsboro, NC. She was born on April 25, 1913 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Robert and Elizabeth Smith Fowlkes. She worked many years as a seamstress. She leaves behind two daughters, Ms. Renee Brinkman and Ms. Elisabeth Cryer, and a son, Mr. David Sims. Professional, sympathetic and dignified service was entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
