Goldsboro - Mr. Leroy Smith, 83 of 2805 McLain Street, passed on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 at home. The celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 at 1:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations. There will be a viewing held on Monday, March 6, 2017 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm at the funeral home.
He was born on June 21, 1933 in Aberdeen, Mississippi to Roberta and Arthur Smith. He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy Smith; three daughters: Sharon Moses and spouse Danny of the home, Barbara Allen of Goldsboro, NC and Linda Yarborough of Ohio; six grandchildren: Michelle, Mario, Tangelia, Mary, Sheri and Shawn; nine great grandchildren: Quel, Nyona, Tray, Teyonna, Taliyah, Mylah, Serenity, Mauri and Dasani.
