Goldsboro - Mr. Leslie Whitfield, 88, passed on Monday, July 12, 2021 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 at 11:00am with a viewing from 10:00am to 10:50am at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 227 South, Dudley, NC.
He was born on May 20, 1933 in Wayne County, NC to John Leslie and Ulebay Wooten Whitfield. He is survived by his children, grandchildren, siblings and many other loving relatives and friends.
