Hello Dad, as I sit here listening to the birds singing and preparing myself for our celebration of your life, I can hear you saying “Oh I’m just like the jay bird hopping from limb to limb”. Everyone would laugh when they heard you say that. You were good at bringing laughter into our lives. You would say some of the darnedest things! I used to wonder where did you get some of these sayings from. I now realize that they came from your wisdom of life. You knew how to keep your own candle lit and it enabled you to in turn light others. Your light will continue to live on in your family. 🦜
