Her homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at 12:00 noon at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly, 211 W. Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC with Bishop Alton A. Smith officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Elmwood Cemetery, 500 S. US 117 Hwy, Goldsboro, NC. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 1, 2013 from 2:00pm until 7:00pm, with the family present from 6:00pm until 7:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel of J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. Ms. Medlin was born on August 4, 1932 in Sampson County, N.C. to Pressie and Dorothy Herring Boone. She is survived by six daughters, Marian, Dorothy, Carol Ann, Melba, Deborah, and Vanessa. A professional, sympathetic, dignified and compassionate service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
