Goldsboro - Mr. Linand Earl Whitfield, 63 passed on Monday, March 2, 2015 at Vidant Medical Center, Greenville, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00am in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He will be laid to rest at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be visitation held on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 2:00pm until 6:00pm in the chapel.
He was born on January 27, 1952 in Wayne County, NC to Sam Whitfield and Ophelia Hamm Whitfield. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
