Faison - Ms. Linda Kay Best, 57, passed on Friday, January 22, 2016 at Carver Living Center, Durham, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 1:00 pm at Hills Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 538 SW Center Street, Faison, NC. She will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117, Dudley, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, January 29, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm with the family arriving to receive friends at 6:30 pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, Inc.
She was born in Duplin County, NC on December 21, 1958 to Hoppie Elizabeth Pearson Best and Henry Lee Best. She is survived by her two children: Chenita Best of Durham, NC and Xavier Lee of the home.
