Goldsboro - Ms. Linda Faye McKinnon Brewington, 59, passed on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at Wayne Memorial Hospital, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 2:00pm at New Stoney Hill United Holy Church, 1003 Poplar Street, Goldsboro, NC. The family will hold a private burial at a later date. There will be a visitation held on Sunday, July 12, 2015 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 4:00pm to 5:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
She was born on December 9, 1955 in Wayne County, NC to Beatrice McKinnon. She is survived by her daughter, Tristen "Shay" Melvin.
