Goldsboro - Mr. Linwood Earl Best, 69 of 302 Cone Street, passed on Monday, March 12, 2018 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 12:00 noon at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Association Headquarters, 1800 S Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at Wayne Memorial Park, 2925 US Hwy 117 South, Dudley, NC. There will be a wake held on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Thompson Chapel FWB Church, 2393 N. Beston Road, La Grange, NC.
He was born on September 13, 1948 in Wayne County, NC to Raymond and Mollissie Baker Best Sr. He is survived by his daughter, KeSha Johnson; grandsons: Khiry Best, KeShon Johnson and Zerrick Johnson and his mother-in-law, Ella Buckrham Jackson.
