Goldsboro - Mr. Linwood E. Hamilton, 73, passed on Tuesday, January 4, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at 1:00pm at Woods Chapel UAFWB Church, 928 New Hope Road, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at the Elmwood Cemetery, Hwy 117 Bypass, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with the family present to receive friends from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
He was born on August 4, 1948 in Wayne County, NC to Cleveland Hamilton and Mary Rachel Coley Hamilton. He is survived by his son, Kenyatta (Patricia) Worrells; stepchildren: Shauna Austin and Thaddeus Austin; his siblings: Ethel Battle, Mable Bolar, Lillian (Obe) Isaac, Christine Hamilton, Cleveland (Adell) Hamilton Jr., Edward Hamilton and Devon (Kathy) Hamilton and other loving relatives and friends.
