Goldsboro - Mr. Lionell "Blu" Artis Jr. 57, passed on Saturday, July 18, 2020. The celebration of his life will be held graveside on Friday, July 24, 2020 at 10:00am at the New Spruill Cemetery, Bartlett Road, Pikeville, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, July 23, 2020 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home & Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. Mask will be required in the building and the family ask that you social distance and do not sit down, but view and continue to allow others to view.
He was born on December 29, 1962 in Wayne County, NC to Lionel and Parthenia Wooten Artis Sr. He is survived by his parents and one son, Terrence L. Artis.
