Goldsboro - Ms. Lisa Y. Lewis, 64, completed her earthly journey on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at Wake Medical Center, Raleigh, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025 at 1:00pm with a viewing at 12:00pm to 12:50pm at St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church, 206 Pearson Street, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Elmwood Cemetery, 900 W. Brick Street (Hwy 117 Bypass), Goldsboro, NC.
Lisa Yvette Lewis was born April 10, 1960, in Merced, California to Dororthy Mae Borden Lewis and Joseph "Big Lew" Lewis, Sr. Left to cherish Lisa’s memories are her mother, Dorothy B. Lewis; three sisters: Josa Raynor-Vaughn (Larry) of Goldsboro, NC, Melba Strickland (Benjamin) of Knightdale, NC and Angela Lewis of Ft. Lauderdale Florida; two brothers: Joseph Lewis, Jr. of Charlotte/Goldsboro,NC and Mark Lewis of Atlanta, GA; her great aunt, Helen Daniels, nieces, nephews, great nephews, and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
