Dudley Mrs. Lisa Whitfield, 52 of 302 Nancy Drive, died Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. Life celebration will held on Sunday, September 16, 2012 at 11:00am at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, with Reverend Niomi Caraway officiating. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery. She was born on April 27, 2012 in Stafford County, Virginia to the late Conway and Katherine Morton Berryman. She was married for over 35 years to her sweetheart, Gerald G. Whitfield. Lisa was preceded in death by her parents, her mother and father-in-law. Betty and William Whitfield. Left to cherish her memories is her husband, Gerald of the home, daughter, April Bizzell of LaGrange, NC; son, Gerald Whitfield, II of Dillwyn, VA; her grandson, Jeremiah Bizzell of LaGrange, NC; siblings: Wayne Berryman, Maurice Berryman, Stefan Berryman, Francine Berryman, Pamela Taylor, Wanda Berryman, Avis Berryman, Deborah Payne, and Michelle Payne, and a host of nieces, nephews, loving cousins and good friends. Arrangements entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremation.
