Seven Springs - Ms. Lola Mae Edwards, 79 of 153 Drummersville Road, passed on Friday, September 16, 2016 at home. The celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at 11:30am in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, Inc., 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Jerusalem FWB Church Cemetery, 395 Jerusalem Church Road, Seven Springs, NC. There will be a visitation held on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 10:30am to 11:30am in the chapel.
She was born in Duplin County, NC on June 20, 1937 to Rimmie Lofton and Bertha Mae Davis Lofton. She is survived by her sons: Earl Edwards of La grange, NC, Ezard Charles Edwards of Dudley, NC and Eston Edwards of Seven Springs, NC; two sisters: Emma Sutton of Goldsboro, NC and Peggy Cobb of Boston; two brothers: James Lofton of Boston and Milton Lofton of Seven Springs; five grandchildren: LaShunna Ward-Campbell, April Cole, Michelle Davis, Maria Davis and Donte Edwards.
