Funeral services will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at Pentecostal Holy Church, 600 E. Pine Street, Goldsboro, NC with Pastor Denise Reed officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Barnes Chapel MB Church Cemetery, 1108 Rosewood Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 from 7:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the Tawanta Rhodes Platt Memorial Parlor at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home. She was born on April 13, 1937 in Wayne County, NC to Profession and Bertha Crawford Williams. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Johnice Williams, seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of other friends and relatives.
