Goldsboro - Ms. Lucille P. Whitley, 88, has completed her last earthly announcement and answered the Master's call on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Wayne UNC Health Care, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 1:30pm at Mt. Zion Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 1289 Parkstown Road, La Grange, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on July 16, 1934 in Wayne County, NC to Stephen Sutton and Willie Ann Jackson Sutton. She is survived by her sons, and other loving relatives and friends.
