August 5, 1944 - February 15, 2014 Goldsboro - Mrs. Ludia P. Burden, 69, passed on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2014 at 12:00 pm at the Goldsboro-Raleigh District Assembly, 211 W. Hooks River Road, Goldsboro, NC with Bishop Larry Whitfield officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, 3888 Hwy. 70 West, Princeton, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, February 21, 2014 from 1:00 pm until 5:00 pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations and from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Best Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1065 Tommys Road, Goldsboro, NC. She was born on August 5, 1944 in Martin County (Williamston), NC to Joe Lester and Isolene Maye Peele. She is survived by her husband, Leon Burden and her children, Jeffrey Burden and Aisha Liferidge. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B.
