La Grange- Ms. Luvenia B. Franklin, 95, completed her earthly journey and peacefully transitioned from labor to reward on Friday, April, 12, 2024 at home surrounded by her loved ones. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 1:00pm at St. Delight United Holy Church, 976 La Grange Road, La Grange, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, April 19, 2024 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC.
She was born on November 8, 1928 in Greene County, NC. She is survived by her children, grandchildren and other loving relatives and friends.
