Goldsboro Ms. Mabel Louise Gavin Isler, 90 of 624 Poplar Street, passed on Sunday morning, August 11, 2013 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. The celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 12:00 noon at Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 318 Denmark Street, Goldsboro, NC with Reverend Dr. Arthur Evans officiating. She will be laid to rest in Elmwood Cemetery, Goldsboro, NC. She was born on February 23, 1923 in Wayne County, NC to William and Sara Strickland Gavin. She is survived by a daughter, Marie Ellen Gavin of the home.
