I just found that Mayvone had passed. My heart is deeply saddened. I have thought of her and tried to call her over the past few years, but none of the numbers I had no longer worked.
I thought that she might be ill..i had moved away and lost touch..We were good friends during my time in Goldsboro. We worked together, often spent our lunch break walking around together. She was always kind to everyone. Had a deep faith of Jesus Christ and we would often discuss Bible study. She always wanted to be helpful to those around her. I offer my most sincere condolences to her family. Just know that I loved her and cherish the time we had together, she was one of the best people I have ever known. Loretta Wells

Maevone, as I type this note my tears are flowing knowing you are no longer with us and words cannot express how much I will miss you. You were an awesome Godmother who loved me like your own, we had an unexplainable bond. Thank you for always being there for all of the important events in my life, smiling and cheering me on. No matter how busy life became, you always made time for those you loved and cared for. Thank you for your words of wisdom, your funny wit and quick come backs and most importantly sharing your love of God with everyone that was in your presence.

God called you home and although you are no longer here on earth, I have fond memories to comfort me. Save me a Frosty, and Ruffles potato chips 😁
