Goldsboro - Ms. Magdalene Thompson, 87, passed on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at 1:30pm at St. Stephens Missionary Baptist Church, 206 Pearson Street, Goldsboro, NC with Eldress Jerri Daniels officiating. She will be laid to rest at the 306 E. Elm Street, Goldsboro, NC. There will be viewing held on Saturday, February 3, 3018 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm with the family arriving to receive friends from 7:00pm to 8:00pm at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home.
She was born in Wayne County, NC on May 12, 1930 to Maggie Howell and Eddie Winbush. She is survived by two daughters and one son.
