Goldsboro - Mr. Major Bryant Bizzell, 77 of 911 Isler Street, passed on Monday, May 30, 2016 at home. The celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 12:00 Noon at Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church, Inc., 1114 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. He will be laid to rest at Old Mill Cemetery, 3718 Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
He was born in Lenoir County, NC to Bryant Bizzell and Ardessie Johnson Bizzell on August 6, 1938. He is survived by his wife, Rosa Mae Brown Bizzell and children.
