Kinston - Mr. Malcolm "Pete" Howard, 68, passed on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at The Laurels of Forest Glenn Nursing & Rehabilitation, Garner, NC. The celebration of his life will be held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 at 11:00am in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in the Southview Cemetery, Old Asphalt Road, Kinston, NC. There will be a viewing held on Thursday, July 31, 2014 from 10:00am until 11:00am in the chapel. Pete was born on December 30, 1945 in Kinston (Lenoir County), NC to Clarence and Maybelle Coward Howard. He is survived by one child and two sisters.
