Goldsboro - Miss Malia Deneka Carlton, 7 of 1219 Porter Street, passed on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church of Bowden, 173 First Baptist Lane, Warsaw, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Carlton Cemetery, Blackmore Road, Warsaw, NC. There will be visitation held on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 1:00pm until 6:00pm with the family arriving from 4:00pm to 6:00pm to receive friends in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
She was born on February 13, 2008 in Wayne County, NC to Dewana Carlton and Paul Gilmore. She is survived by her parents; grandparents, Mary and Johnny Carlton and aunts: Precious Carlton and Jasmine Carlton.
