Her life will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at 1:00 pm at A Ray of Hope Christian Center, 215 E. Gordon Street, Kinston, NC. She will be laid to rest in the Southview Cemetery, Kinston, NC. There will be a visitation held on Tuesday, September 3, 2013 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home. She was born on May 27, 1929 in Greene County, NC to Edgar and Elizabeth Hardy Pettiway. She is survived by her children. Professional, sympathetic, dignified and compassionate service entrusted to Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC.
