Goldsboro - Mrs. Marcella Phillips, 73 of 700 Spence Ave #A4, passed on July 18, 2014 at home. Funeral services and burial will be in Nashville, TN A celebration of Marcella’s life will be conducted on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 11 a.m. at the Harpeth Hills Funeral Home. Local arrangements were handled by J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. She was born on March 14, 1941 in Youngstown, OH to Marcellus and Alice Jones Tillery. She is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Richard Phillips; children, Phyllis (Robert) Gray, Cornell Stevens and Tamara Stevens; stepchildren, Shelton Phillips, Steven Phillips, Alyson Phillips (Greg) Morgan, and Shantina Phillips; siblings, Claude Tillery, Romey Tillery, Cardie Tillery McKinney and Tony Tillery; grandchildren, Julian, Eric, Bryan, Terrance, Aaron, Martwan and Kalina. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews and two great-great-nieces. Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
