Goldsboro Mr. Marcellus Sherman Robinson, 60 of 714B Olivia Lane, passed on Monday evening, July 15, 2013 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center. The celebration of his life will be held on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at 1:00 pm at Pentecostal Holy Church, 600 E. Pine Street, Goldsboro, NC. Burial will be in Old Mill Cemetery, Central Heights Road, Goldsboro, NC with military honors. There will be a viewing held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. He was born on May 12, 1953 in Glenwood, Alabama to CP and Mae Ola Sherman Robinson. The family is receiving friends at the home of his mother, Mae Ola Robinson, 1008A Lincoln Drive, Goldsboro, NC, where they will also assemble in preparation for the funeral procession. A professional, sympathetic, dignified and compassionate service has been entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
