Goldsboro - Ms. Marion Marie Artis McNair Parker, 89 of 1200 S. Best Street, passed on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the Brian Center, Goldsboro, NC. The homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 11:00 am at Eastern Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 1401 N. Carolina Street, Goldsboro, with Pastor Timothy Dortch officiating. She will be laid to rest in Willowdale Cemetery, 306 E. Elm Street, Goldsboro. There will be a visitation held on Friday, April 4, 2014 from 1:00 pm until 7:00 pm with the family present from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the J.B.
Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. Ms. Parker was born on February 17, 1925 in Nash County (Rocky Mount), NC to Claude Bonner and Hattie Joyner McNair. She was the mother of Dr. Howard E. McNair Sr. (Veda) of the home and Ms. Wilma McNair of Newark, NJ Professional, sympathetic, dignified, compassionate care and service entrusted to J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations.
