To the family of the late Mrs. Martha Lou S. Boyd,
One of my fondest memories of the late Mrs. Martha L. Boyd, was as neighbors. Her late daughter, Adreian was a classmate and friend of ours. We often spent time over each others home and Mrs. Martha and my mother would try to listen in on our conversations. But when they couldn't hear us very well or understand our codings and what we were saying they would keep working their way over, coming closer and closer to us and we would look at them and smile. Neither one of our parents could ever catch what we were talking about and it would truly bother them so much that they would stare back at us. We could tell that they wanted us to say something, but we never did. They knew if they had said something first, they would be caught. Mrs. Martha and my mother were very wise women not to blow their cover.
Mrs. Martha had a very quiet, and sweet spirit. She had a deliberate smile and always knew more about a subject than you would think someone as quiet as she was would even know.
We pray that the family will have comfort and peace as they journey through this bereavement. May God continue to bless and keep each of you during this time.
