Kinston - Ms. Martha Marie Bynum, 69 of 1302 E. Shine Street, passed on September 25, 2018 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 1:00pm at Herring Grove Free Will Baptist, 4851 US-70 W, Kinston, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Westview Cemetery, Kinston, NC. There will be a viewing held on Friday. October 5, 2018 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC.
She was born on February 16, 1949 in Greene County, NC to Jacob "Coon" and Celia Graham Waters. She is survived by two sons: Robert E. Bynum (Essie) and George L. Bynum (Temika).
