La Grange - Mrs. Mary Ethel Hines, 64 of 3517 Foss Farm Road, passed on Friday, January 24, 2020 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center, Goldsboro, NC. The celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at 1:00pm at Hull Road Free Will Baptist Church, 2650 US 258 Hwy, Kinston, NC. She will be laid to rest at the St. Matthews FWB Church Cemetery, 2578 Jenny Lind Road, La Grange, NC. There will be a viewing held on Monday, January 27, 2020 from 3:00pm to 7:00pm in the Nannie D. Loftin Memorial Chapel at Loftin Memorial-J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home, 106 N. East Street, Kinston, NC.
She was born on October 20, 1955 in Lenoir County, NC to Joshua and Carrie Lee Powell Atkinson. She is survived by her husband, Samuel Hines of the home and her children.
