Georgia Mrs. Mary Jane Lewis Guss, 71 of Locust Grove, formerly of Goldsboro, passed on Friday evening, March 8, 2013 at Brightmoor Hospice Center, Griffin, GA. The homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11:00am from the Greater Guiding Star United Holy Church, 1114 S. Slocumb Street, Goldsboro, NC. The interment will be in the Old Mill Cemetery, Central Heights Rd, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a visitation held on Friday, March 15, 2013 from 1:00pm until 8:00pm with the family present from 7:00pm until 8:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B. Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations. Mrs. Guss was born on October 17, 1941 in Wayne County, NC to Toney and Josephine Smith Lewis. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Guss of the home.
