Goldsboro - Mrs. Mary King Redfern, 78, passed on Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Wayne UNC Health Care. The celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 1:00pm in the J.B. Rhodes Jr. Memorial Chapel at J.B Rhodes Funeral Home and Cremations, 1701 Wayne Memorial Drive, Goldsboro, NC. She will be laid to rest at the Elmwood Cemetery, 900 W. Brick Street (Hwy 117 Bypass, Goldsboro, NC. There will be a viewing held on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 12:00pm to 12:50pm at the funeral home.
She was born on February 14, 1943 in Wayne County, NC to James Henry King and Mary Elizabeth Bailey King. She is survived by her husband, John Henry Redfern and five children.
